Spell for Nurturing and Love: A Ritual for a Child's Room

Time: The first hour after sunset, during the waxing moon, on a Monday

Supplies:

  • pink candle
  • Lavender, dried or fresh
  • A natural bowl ( a wooden or clay bowl or a large shell)
  • An object from you that can be left in your child's room (examples: a stone, a small figurine, a string of beads)
  • A glass of water

    • Place the lavender in the bowl, place it next to the object and the candle, along with the glass of water. Light the candle. Say aloud:

    On this loving, mystical Monday and guided in the hour of Venus, I ask that the Lord and Lady join me in imbuing this room with love and support. May the soul/s who rest here be protected and blessed and may they know that they are loved. With this lavender, I create the space for open hearts. With this object, I ground my love and intention. I drink this water as a symbol of participating in this love.

    Sprinkle the lavender in the four corners of the room. Put the object where it won't be disturbed. Take a drink of the water. Say aloud:

    I send my love from my heart and fill this room with light, joy and spirit. So be it. And so it is.

    Blow out the candle. Leave only the object in the room.
